Thursday March 28 – Stations of Jesus’ Life
Stations of Jesus’ Life is an interactive opportunity that will be offered for Wednesday, March 31st, from 12:00 – 6:00, and Thursday, April 1st, 12:00 through 7:00 pm at the church. The stations offer scripture, reflections, and opportunities for interaction. You are invited to come and spend time in meditation, reflection, and prayer as you move through the stations at your leisure.
Friday March 29 — Ecumenical Good Friday Tenebrae Service
Friday, March 29 @ 7 PM — At First Presbyterian Church of Mount Vernon
Service of Tenebrae (which means “darkness”)
We will read through the last scenes of Jesus’ life according to the Gospel of John, pausing along the way to sing, to pray, to sit in silence.
Sunday March 31 —Easter Sunday—Worship services at 8:30 & 11 AM
We will worship and celebrate the Risen Lord on Sunday March 31 with our Praise Service at 8:30 am and our Traditional Service at 11 am.
