Sunday School classes continue each Sunday
at 9:45 am in the Classrooms
May Update:
Sunday, May 7, will be our Teacher Appreciation breakfast where the kids will serve our teachers breakfast then sit down to eat with them. This will be during normal Sunday School time. We will not be meeting after that until the fall.
Summer Camps
Summer is fast approaching and we have some fun options for our students! Visit our bulletin boards in the lobby for brochures and registration forms, which can also be found online. UMC believes that everyone should be able to attend these events regardless of financial situations. UMC offers 2 camps: Westley Woods in Indianola and Lake Okoboji in Spirit Lake. There are a variety of different kinds of camps offered June – August. There are camps for any age, from under 3 to over 18 with different camps offering different activities. Some of these include amusement park visits, archery, arts and crafts, canoeing/kayaking, creek stomping, fishing, go-karts, horseback riding, rock walls and ropes courses, and swimming. Lodging ranges from barns, cabins, and ranches, to covered wagons, tents, and tepees. All camps include Bible studies, campfire songs, large group worship, and personal devotion time.
